I am in love with European films.

One of the things I do the most since I moved to Melbourne is watching European films. 

Some of the story plots are weird, some are insanely funny, and some are really disturbing. 

90% of the European films that I've watched from television contained nudity.

For the first few months I was having culture shocked and wondered,

why do French love to have nude scenes in their films?

Is this how they celebrate love and sex?

Now I am able to watch the nude scenes with different perspective, 

not with a lusty way, but to appreciate the artistic parts of them.

European films are really entertaining!

Here are some of the films that I like:

 C.R.A.Z.Y. (Canada) - crazy gay plot

Solino (Germany) - nasty brother

Black Ice (Finland) - disturbing

Amreeka (U.S) - love this one!

A Song For Martin  (Sweden) - middle age's romance

 La Vie En Rose (France) - beautifully sad

Gilles's Wife (France) - similar plot to "Black Ice", do not under estimate your wife

Mommo the Bogeyman (Turkey) - one of my favourites

Empties (Czech Republic) - affair happens in all ages

Silent Souls (Russia) - awarded the Golden Osella for best cinematography 

Gainsbourg (France) - the cabbage head is really disturbing me recently...

Father's Chair (Brazil) - beautiful and genuine

5 of us are staying in Unit 5.
Gary, WeiWei, Shi Wen, Matt, Alexis and a dog name Headie.


It was Alexis's last day staying in our house.
We were having the last dinner at 8pm and last supper at 1am.
Beers, jokes, laughter, music, shooting and games.

Alexis,  a happy-go-lucky french guy from New Caledonia.
Loves music, good voice, plays guitar, and loves his country.
He seldom cook but his food are great.
And he has the firmest butt among Gary and Matt.

Matt,  a blue eyes stylish blondie British Barbie.
He loves his fringe and would never allow it to be cut.
A great poser, crazy, nice smile and easy-going.
Has lots of colorful socks and boxers.
And he always lose in playing Caps with Alexis.

Shi Wen,  an interesting girl from Beijing.
She is active in her uni activities and you can hardly see her.
She loves to cook and has her signature big smile.
And she is a sleeping beauty who just woke up from hibernating.

Gary,  the hairiest Malaysian.
Nothing to talk about him except his hair.

Wei Wei,  a half-thai-half-chinese Malaysian.
Working her ass hard to be an Artist + Photographer.

Headie,  the only Aussie in Unit 5.
His breed is Kelpie, Australian sheep dog.
Kind, active and hardworking.
Loves to lick my face when I am talking.
And poor Headie is having a hangover for 2 days after he was forced to lick on some liquor on that  farewell dinner....


We are just a bunch of crazy people staying in No.5.
